~Accidental Sabbatical (mainstream): A break taken by accident, or not by choice.

(Leisure Team): A gift of time away from work that, given the right frame of mind, can be a wonderful and fulfilling period in a person's life.

Example: When layoffs were rumored to be coming on Friday, Jerry began plotting his accidental sabbatical from the confines of his cubicle. First stop? Southeast Asia...

~Coaster (mainstream): A round object, preferably composed of semi-porous stone, upon which to set a cold drink to keep it from sweating into the table.

(Leisure Team): Someone who has enough money to sustain a healthy period of time off but not enough to retire, so is mastering the art of leisure before returning to a paying job.

Example: Karen and Isidro had so many coaster friends, they decided to get married in Hawaii. The reception lasted three weeks.
